2017年4月27日，阿拉伯联合大公国(UAE) 公布类似于欧盟RoHS执行做法的电子电器产品有害物质管制法规，未来意图控制电器产品内所含的有害物质比率。该UAE RoHS法规，涵盖产品类别项目与欧盟相同，除一般性消费电器产品外，亦包括医疗设备、工业监控用仪器及其它等项目，请参见下列产品范围。目前公告管制之有害物质共计十项：铅(Pb)、镉(Cd)、汞(Hg)、六价铬(Cr+6)、多溴联苯(PBBs)、多溴联苯醚(PBDEs) 及 四项塑化剂(DEHP、BBP、DBP、DIBP)。
UAE-RoHS之符合性评估，必须透过两种选择性的评估方式来执行，相关技术文件需经过审核，通过后该主管机关Emirates Authority For Standardization and Metrology (EMSA) 将会发予有效的许可证书。
产品范围：
1. 大型家用电器（Large household appliances）
2. 小型家用电器（Small household appliances）
3. IT 和通讯设备（IT and telecommunication equipment）
4. 消费产品（Consumer equipment）
5. 照明设备（Lighting equipment ）
6. 电子和电气工具（Electrical and electronic tools）
7. 玩具休闲和动力设备（Toys leisure and sport equipment）
8. 医疗设备(除了所有植入性和感染的产品)（Medical devices, with the with the exception of all implanted and infected product）
9. 包括工业监控设备在内的监控设备（Monitoring and control instruments including industrial monitoring and control instruments）
10. 自动售货机（Automatic dispensers）
11. 其它未包含以上类别的电子电器产品（Other EEE not covered by any of the categories above）
正式实施日期将依据限禁用物质项目 及 产品类别不同，分阶段性实施：
* 群组A-产品范围类别第8及9项。
* 群组C-产品范围类别第1-7项及第10项。
